In February 2020, Chang Myung Architects signed an industry-academic cooperation with Changwon University. Chang Myung Architects is a company specializing in architectural design and is recognized as an excellent company leading national industrial development and industry-academic collaboration. Through the signing of industry-academic cooperation, Myung Suk Jeung, chairman of Chang Myung Group, expressed his intention to promote joint development with Changwon University and contribute to the development of local communities by fostering local talent and strengthening capabilities.

Changwon University is the second university where Chang Myung, an architecture office, has formed industry-academic cooperation. Chang Myung Architects, which previously had an industry-academic partnership with Dongseo University, is interested in fostering local talent. This interest stems from the belief that companies should play a social role. Chang Myung aims to revitalize the architectural industry in the Yeongnam area by fostering local talent. This is because nurturing local talent will eventually positively affect community development and economic revitalization.

Chang Myung became Changwon University's family company by forming industry-academic cooperation with Changwon University. This can be found on the Changwon University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation website. Chang Myung promised to take an active attitude toward human resource development and capacity building.
