Chang Myung has newly established the company's mission, vision, and value and reorganized the CI (Corporate Identity) in 2023. The critical keyword common to Chang Myung's new mission, vision, and value is "sustainability." It is because Chang Myung felt desperate that we should play a social role as a company in accelerating environmental pollution due to climate change.
Emerging sustainability does not just mean environmental sustainability but embraces environmental, social, and economic sustainability. Chang Myung plans to not only pursue the value of sustainability in the business progress of its three brands, Chang Myung Architects, CM Construction, and CM E&C, but also pay more attention to improving its employees' economic and social sustainability.
Chang Myung's newly defined mission is 'employing a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach, we continuously innovate and embrace challenges to meet our customers' needs with optimal total solutions creatively.' The new vision was redefined as 'Striving towards 'Net-Zero,' we offer sustainable solutions aligned with the global trend, contributing to enhancing the socio-cultural, environmental, and economic value of our future.' The core value is building sustainable relationships.
Chang Myung also carried out a visual rebranding project to reorganize corporate identity. Planning Manager Jeung Dae Hee, who led the rebranding project, said that the focus was on actively responding to the trend of the times in line with the new vision to consistently reveal changing and growing flexibility and adaptability to brand assets and content. Visual Designer Ahn Jimin, who was in charge of the visual rebranding of the rebranding project, said that while revealing the tradition of Chang Myung with 30 years of history, the logo facilitates effective brand communication by combining straight lines and open-shaped curves to express openness to change.
