CM E&C Participated in World Climate Industry Expo 2023

CM E&C of Chang Myung Group participated in the WCE 2023(World Climate Industry Expo 2023) held at BEXCO in Busan for three days from May 25 to 27, 2023. CM E&C was established in 2020 as a solar energy company of Chang Myung Group and has been building a foothold for growth for the past three years focusing on construction and engineering, and has entered the solar energy business in earnest since last year to contribute to sustainability.

CM E&C displayed its own produced solar combiner box as its main exhibition item in this exhibition. It also placed promotional booklet catalogs and a QR code banner in the exhibition booth so visitors can easily access and learn about CM E&C. In addition, by exhibiting BIPV modules with the help of its partner company Sejong International Co., Ltd., visitors could also see, touch, and listen to explanations of BIPV modules, which are somewhat unfamiliar to PV modules.

Although it was CM E&C's first fair to participate as a company, the exhibition was successfully completed due to the interest and visits of many general visitors and overseas buyers during the fair. Through this exhibition experience, CM E&C's exhibition team learned what to supplement for the convenience of visitors at the next fair and felt again that it was essential to share the overall knowledge of the solar power system with ordinary consumers through direct encounters and explanations in the exhibition.

WCE 2023 was held in BEXCO, Haeundae-gu, Busan, to showcase the latest technologies and policies in the global climate industry to cope with the climate crisis. This year, four events, including the Carbon Neutral Conference, the Korea Energy Exhibition, the Carbon Neutral EXPO, and the Special Exhibition of the International Environmental Energy Industry (ENTECH), which were held separately every year, were integrated to be held as WCE 2023. As a result, many companies participated, and various organizations such as the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Ministry of Environment, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, and the Ministry of Public Administration and Security.

The theme of this WCE 2023 was "The Road to Sustainable Prosperity Beyond the Climate Crisis" and is linked to the central theme of the 2030 Busan World Expo, "World Transformation, Navigation for a Better Future."
