Chang Myung's CM E&C Co., Ltd. was finally selected on February 27 as a participating company in the Korea Energy Agency's renewable energy supply project in 2024. Founded in 2020, CM E&C has been striving to expand its new and renewable energy base, starting with the solar power business. The selection as a participating company in the Korea Energy Agency in 2024 is expected to serve as a new driving force in CM E&C's future moves.
CM E&C Co., Ltd., which started as a specialized construction company in 2020, has contributed to raising public awareness of new and renewable energy, including solar power, by actively participating in new and renewable energy-related fairs and publishing new and renewable energy trend reports in 2023. In addition, it has registered five solar-related patents. It has rapidly grown over the past year, such as recently taking over a large-scale solar panel construction project in commercial facilities. It is estimated to be worth paying attention to in future growth.
The Korea Energy Agency's Renewable Energy Center has selected 574 companies for 2024 this year. Companies participating in the Korea Energy Agency's renewable energy supply project were selected based on scores of 15 categories, including technical workforce, construction performance, corporate creditworthiness, and industrial contribution.
