In November 2014, the Korean Institute of Architects selected Myung Suk Jeung, chairman of Chang Myung Group, as one of the "100 Architects of the Year." Myung Suk Jeung, who was chosen as one out of 100 people, was named Architect of the Year in recognition of his contributions and achievements to the Architecture industry over the past decade.

Korean Institute of Architects holds an international exhibition of "100 Architects of the Year" every year, and 100 participants are selected according to the screening criteria. Eligibility to participate in the contest must be a person who has won various architectural awards or has been recommended by the committee among regular members of the Korean Institute of Architects.
